Actors audition annually to be in the Lung Ha Ensemble. The Ensemble meets for 3 hours of training every week.

Our Creative Development strand provides actor-led development opportunities in several areas, including Creative Space, Festival reviews and mentoring in directing & playwriting.

A weekly online drama class for learning disabled actors who live outside Edinburgh or who for other reasons cannot attend the Lung Ha Ensemble sessions in person.

Lung Ha Touring Company provides further opportunities for performers to create and tour new and existing work, with bespoke and specialist actor training.

A resource for individuals and organisations with guidance on working with learning-disabled adults, drawn from over 40 years of experience. This research was supported by The RS Macdonald Charitable Trust.

A two-year creative research project working with learning disabled and autistic artists to explore questions of identity, representation and voice.

From April 2024 – April 2025, Lung Ha Theatre Company hosted a range of activities, celebrations and initiatives to mark our 40th anniversary year.
