INTRODUCTION
The Lung Ha Touring Company provides further opportunities for performers to create and tour new and existing work, with bespoke and specialist actor training.
The inaugural production under the banner of the Lung Ha Touring Company was a remounting of our 2021 hit An Unexpected Hiccup at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the world’s biggest stage, in August 2024.
This was followed by the Touring Company’s participation in Alas! Poor Yorick by the renowned theatre company Ridiculusmus when they took to the Capital Theatres’ Studio stage in April 2025.
In January 2026, the Touring Company presented rehearsed readings of two short plays starring, written and co-directed by Lung Ha Theatre Company Ensemble actors, which took place at the Traverse Theatre.
ACCESS AND CREATIVE PRINCIPLES TOOLKIT
With the generous support of The RS Macdonald Charitable Trust, we have created the Lung Ha Access and Creative Principles Toolkit, a resource for individuals and organisations with guidance on working with learning-disabled adults. Drawn from over 40 years of experience in making theatre performances with learning disabled actors, and from research with members of our current ensemble, the toolkit aims to create inclusive work environments for disabled and non-disabled people, in creative and practical ways.
We use these principles, tools and methods to help us make fabulous, award-winning theatre, but we believe they can be used in many types of settings. We hope that they allow you to open up opportunities to work more inclusively in whatever you do.

To request a copy of the first edition of the Access and Creative Principles Toolkit, please complete the form on this page. This is a free to access resource for Scottish-based performance artists, practitioners and organisations. It is also available to purchase, with discounts available for charities.
Our accompanying training workshops, presentations and consultancy offers can provide personalised advice and guidance for your organisation, project or individual practice. Please get in touch for more information or costings via the form on this page or by emailing info@lungha.com
