A weekly online drama class for learning disabled actors who live outside Edinburgh or who for other reasons cannot attend the Lung Ha Ensemble sessions in person.
The Across Scotland sessions provide participants with the opportunity to:
- Access basic acting training
- Participate in specialist skills workshops such as acting for screen, musicals and Shakespeare
- Showcase work through film
- Develop skills and progress to audition for the LHTC Ensemble
- Learn how to be in and work with an ensemble of actors on a small scale.
You do not need to have any previous drama experience to join Lung Ha Across Scotland. All we ask is that you have a real interest and commitment to joining in, an interest in learning about theatre and acting skills and enjoy working with other people. You will asked to attend an informal audition where we will ask you about your interest in drama, working as part of a group and anything else about yourself you’d like to share.
