WORLD PREMIERE Lung Ha Theatre Company in co-production with The Sibelius Academy of the University of The Arts (Helsinki, Finland)
Olga, Masha and Irina long for the glamour of Moscow; they long to be free of the life they have been ‘given’ in provincial Russia, to escape the countryside and return to the society to which they belong.
But with the constant visits of soldiers and dignitaries, of family, friends and ‘acquaintances’, with work to be done, with marriages to be honored will they ever be free of the family’s legacy and find fulfillment?
The full performing company of the award-winning Lung Ha Theatre Company together with the world-renowned Sibelius Academy of the University of The Arts (Helsinki, Finland) present Anton Chekhov’s classic play – in a new version by Adrian Osmond.
A play of life, love, loss, dreams, whimsy, hope – real and false – of moving and of remaining where you are.
