David joined the Lung Ha Board in October 2025. David is a playwright, screenwriter and theatre director whose original plays and adaptations have been performed widely in Scotland and around the world, including Midsummer, The Events, Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, Local Hero and The Strange Undoing of Prudencia Hart. David was Artistic Director of the Royal Lyceum Theatre in Edinburgh from 2015 – 2025.
