Leave a Legacy

Leaving a Legacy is an invaluable gift which champions the talents of future generations of learning-disabled actors and creatives. Choosing to leave a Legacy can celebrate you or your loved one’s connection to Lung Ha and go a long way to support our community in the future.

Types of Legacies

Pecuniary Legacy – A fixed sum on money stated in your will.

Residual Legacy – A percentage of your overall estate.

Leaving a Legacy in your will can change the amount of inheritance tax paid. Legacies to charities are exempt and may reduce inheritance tax applied to the rest of your estate. Information regarding inheritance tax can be found on Gov.uk

How to Leave a Legacy

Thank you for considering leaving a Legacy to Lung Ha Theatre Company. You can do this by stating your intention to leave a Legacy to us when you make a new will or by amending your existing will.  Please seek advice from a solicitor if you wish to do so.

We would love to take the opportunity to thank you for choosing to leave a gift to Lung Ha, but we appreciate you may wish to keep this anonymous.

You can also donate on behalf of a loved one. In 2023, we received a generous donation in memory of Alan Wilkins on behalf of his family. Alan had worked with Lung Ha throughout his career including on the 2008 production, Can We Live With You

If you have any questions about leaving a Legacy on behalf of yourself or a loved one, please contact our Development Officer, Arron Greechan, at arron.greechan@lungha.com
