From 18-25th March, we are proud to be participating in Big Give’s Arts for Impact campaign. As one of the good causes invited to participate, this is a great time to show your support for our work in 2025 and create new opportunities for learning-disabled adults in the arts.
How Can You Help?
Head over to our campaign page on the Big Give website and pledge a donation. Whether you can donate £5 or £100, every donation up to our £1,000 target will be doubled. That’s one donation and double the difference!

Why Lung Ha Matters?
As Scotland’s leading theatre company for learning-disabled adults, we are dedicated to breaking down barriers for disabled people to participate in the arts. We platform learning-disabled voices on stage, providing access to build creative skills and confidence in the people we support.

Every donation will support our work in 2025 and be doubled by Big Give!
All money raised during Arts For Impact week will go directly to supporting our actors to participate in our programme of activity. In 2025, this will include regular Tuesday evening Ensemble workshops, developing a new show, and other opportunities for learning-disabled actors across the country.
Remember: one donation has double the impact!
Campaign Aims
- CREATE A PROFESSIONAL PATHWAY FOR LEARNING-DISABLED ARTISTS: Create a pathway to working professionally through projects such as the Lung Ha Touring Company, and by advocating for better resources from other arts organisation in the theatre sector to improve conditions for learning-disabled artists.
- HELP US TO PROUDLY MAKE FABULOUS THEATRE: Develop, produce and perform new theatre productions which platform learning-disabled artists and their voices, like our award-winning Castle Lennox and An Unexpected Hiccup.
- BE SCOTLAND’S LEADING COMPANY FOR LEARNING-DISABLED ARTISTS: Deliver national outreach and engagement programmes which provide creative opportunities for learning disabled adults including Lung Ha Across Scotland and Creative Development.
Campaign Targets
- £1,000 – Run our Across Scotland programme.
- £750 – Provide Access Support for our actors during production.
- £250 – Contribute towards Lead Support for our Ensemble sessions.
All funds raised will go towards the core costs of our artistic programmes, funding places and opportunities for learning-disabled artists. If we exceed our target, we will use funding towards improving access support for our beneficiaries including through our John Edgar Fund, which covers the cost of appropriate access costs for our actors attending rehearsals, workshops or productions.
