We are pleased to be one of the successful applicants of Creative Scotland’s Multi Year Funding. Consistency and continuity are extremely important in the work we make with our acting ensemble, and this three-year agreement provides a degree of reassuring stability.
Lung Ha Theatre Company champions the talent and ambition of learning-disabled artists to make fabulous theatre. This will enable us to continue to make ambitious work, develop the creative skills of our acting ensemble, and to further break down barriers to participation in the arts for learning disabled adults. We create our work in a delicate ecosystem and will work closely with our partners to navigate the challenges and opportunities ahead.
This core public recognition and funding also allows us to build our relationships with other Trusts and Foundations and individuals who can see that we are supported and an important part of the cultural fabric of Scotland.
