One Man Shoe by Jango Starr
“One Man Shoe in its silent, hilarious way shows both children and adults that they can fulfil those dreams."
You know it’s a good show when the audience of both kids and adults sit watching with smiles on their faces, despite the little dialogue. Whilst finding the small venue was a little difficult, this show is a gem in a huge list of children’s shows this year.
Jango is a luckless accident-prone janitor with big dreams to be a star. His only talent seems to be making a mess and constantly losing his shoe. Then a huge opportunity arrives and Jango’s luck begins to change.
As a professional clown, Jango shows off his craft whilst creating an almost three dimensional character the audience found amusing, clever and felt sympathy for – hasn’t everyone had big dreams they felt they couldn’t fulfil? “One Man Shoe” in its silent, hilarious way shows both children and adults that they can fulfil those dreams.
“Very enjoyable family fun!” – Lindsey and Rosie (Audience members)
